We are beyond thrilled to be chosen as a designer for the second edition of the Hawai’i Swim Show and be a part of an event that brings together designers, industry professionals, and swimwear enthusiasts to celebrate the latest trends and innovations in the swimwear industry. The Hawai'i Swim Show is not just a platform for showcasing swimwear; it is a celebration of creativity, diversity, and community. Through its various initiatives, the show – which will take place at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa Naupaka Ballroom, from September 1-3 – aims to support local designers and Native Hawaiian business owners and contribute to the local community. Hawai’i Swim Show is the first swim and resort showcase to be held in Hawai’i, a place where swimwear is worn day in and day out. Though it is just in its second year, the fashion show has become a significant event in the global swimwear industry.

The Hawai’i Swim Show is dedicated to promoting Hawai’i’s swimwear industry while fostering a sense of community and representation by supporting local talent, providing a platform for emerging designers, and encouraging innovation and creativity. In addition to its focus on swimwear, the event is committed to giving back to the community and aims to provide a valuable opportunity for in-person networking and collaboration between designers, models, photographers, retailers, publicists, and other creatives.
While we can’t wait to show you the looks we've been working on for months at the Hawai’i Swim Show, our hearts go to the residents of Lahaina, the island of Maui, and anyone affected by the recent wildfires that took place earlier this month. This year, the fashion show will be donating a portion of their proceeds to local organizations in support of Maui relief efforts.
Hawai’i Swim Show Schedule of Events
Come enjoy a swimwear-filled weekend in Waikoloa on the Big Island. Our models will hit the runway at 7pm on Friday, September 1 and we will also have a booth on Saturday, September 2 and Sunday, September 3 if you’d like to shop or just say hello. Our booth is located at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Terrace adjacent to the lobby. We will be bringing items from our older collections as well as pieces from our new, unreleased collection which includes suits, cover ups, and pareos that will be available for pre-sale online and in-person.

Kaiona Swimwear Fashion Show and Pop-Up Booth
Kaiona Swimwear is proud to have been selected to kick off the show, presenting pieces from our newest collection and a few of your favorite styles. Attendees will have the opportunity to watch the fashion show in person at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa Naupaka Ballroom or through the Hawai'i Swim Show YouTube live stream. All guests with a VIP ticket to the show will receive a swag bag that includes a bunch of goodies, plus a special discount code that can be used for any Kaiona Swimwear purchase on our website or at our booth!
This will be our very first fashion show and while it’s all very new to us, we’re having a ton of fun preparing looks that will highlight our ocean sports-focused brand. Our models will be wearing our latest suits and pieces from our soon-to-be-released collection, which includes a new Hawaiian quilt-inspired print and a new silvery blue colorway. You’ll be able to see these items on the runway as well as touch and feel the quality of the fabric at our pop-up booth on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. You can find our booth outside on the terrace of the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort. It’s open to the public and no tickets are required. Bucket hats will be there for sale too!
