Returns & Exchanges


We hope that you fall in love with your new sustainable bathing suit, but if things don't work out, please contact us at: kaionaswim@gmail.com. 

We offer exchanges or store credit for full priced items. Store credit has no expiration date. For exchanges, we are unable to hold items since we produce our products in very small batches. To begin an exchange, send us an email within 30 days of your order date and simply place a new order. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

All items to be exchanged must be in new condition (unused, unwashed, free of deodorant and makeup stains, etc.) with all tags and any hygienic liners (if applicable) in place. If the items are obviously worn or have any stains, holes, rips, smells (soap, perfume, smoking, animals, etc.), we will not be able to accept your item. For hygienic reasons, please try on all swimsuits with underwear on. If an item doesn't meet our standards, we will return it to the sender. We may also ask for photos of the items.

Kaiona Swimwear will cover all inbound shipping costs associated with the exchanged items from customers within the U.S., however once your item is returned to us and approved, you will need to place a new order and pay the associated shipping costs (if applicable). Please do not send a package until you receive written confirmation and a return label from us. Kaiona Swimwear is not responsible for any lost packages.

For our international friends from outside of the United States, we are unfortunately unable to do free exchanges. You will need to cover the cost of shipping to return your item to us and place a new order once your item is received and accepted.

Store Credit

If you would like to exchange an item for store credit, we're happy to do so. Once we receive your item and approve it, you will be issued store credit for the value you paid. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You will receive the store credit digitally via the email you provided when placing your original order and will be able to use the credit towards another order. Store credit has no expiration date.

All sales are final on:

  • Sale items (This does not include items purchased with a discount code.)
  • Accessories (reusable straw sets, visors, bags, keychains, stickers, etc.)
  • Any item purchased at another retailer or trunk show
  • Gift cards

Defects

All products are packaged and inspected by our designer, but we may have missed something. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 5 days if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. Send us an email at: kaionaswim@gmail.com and include a photo of the damaged items. We want you to love your bikini and will do our best to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Please note that Kaiona Swimwear is not responsible for packages which are lost or stolen during shipment or sent to the wrong address, as entered by the customer. This applies to both domestic and international orders. We are unable to update an incorrect address after the package has left our facility so please be sure to double check your shipping address is correct before placing an order.
